Our school age program uses Effective Practices in School Age/Out of School Time (SA/OST) Curriculum. The standards focus on six elements of quality care:
- Human relationships
- Indoor environments
- Outdoor environments
- Activities
- Safety, health, and nutrition
- Administration
These elements promote the presence of key protective factors, which include meeting of physical needs, positive safe environments, caring adult role models, positive peer relationships, belonging to a community, and cultural inclusion.
We offer before and after school care during the school year. Transportation is provided by the school district. Parents must set up a bus schedule with the district and we meet children when they are picked up and dropped off by buses or vans. Teachers have an afternoon lesson plan and allow for time to help with homework.
We offer full day care on school release days and during the summer. Activities are planned with input from the children. The children participate in walking field trips to local parks and businesses. Summer monthly calendars can be found here.
All meals are included in the weekly tuition fee. Breakfast and snacks are included in the before and after school tuition fee. Visit our rates page for tuition information.
